The pack it self is the ideal size for a cross body bag but the strap is on the short side (at least for my size 48 chest). Eight to ten more inches and it would be the perfect bag. I have several other waist/shoulder bags that the strap is longer but the bag is also much bigger and deeper so it doesn’t sit flat against your chest like the Mulepak does. I’m a big guy with an athletic build, 6’ 240 pounds 38” waist just for reference. Still a good bag, I still use it but it’s not as comfortable as I’d like it to be. As a waist pack It’s probably fantastic. 7/10 rating from my personal experience.

This is my second bag, I use this when I go out shopping or walking the dog, really great and get a lot of comments about it. I love having one place to put all my things so I don't lose anything.
